My name is Julian Meroi and I’m the founder of Meroi Security. Here is a quick overview on my career and how Meroi Security got started.

While obtaining my Engineering MSc, I got interested in technology and social behavior. That’s when I started working on a social network platform to share ideas. During this time I learned UX, web development and got my first taste of entrepreneurship and startups. This experience led me to start an apps and web development agency. Next to working for clients, we launched several products of our own and a startup.

In 2017, while working on a blog about privacy and security for the general public, I got interested in cybersecurity and started consulting as IT System Administrator. In 2018 I joined Forescout Technologies as System Administrator with Infosec responsibilities. Later, I transitioned full time in the information security team as Information Security Engineer. Cloud security and incident response were my main responsibilities.

After gaining enough experience, I began my own consulting activity and landed my first big client, ING Bank.

Currently, Meroi Security relies on a team of expert incident responders and cloud security specialists.
